SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.96 g, 12 h), irregular mint. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAEΛΠΩ - ANTIOX (sic!) Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on his bow. A curious contemporary imitation with a portrait of powerful style. Very fine.
